lyrics
Drowning in obscured waters
The cold grip of solitude around my neck
Paralyzed by this perpetual grief
The cloak of sorrow that surrounds me
This life is but the eternal celebration of misery
Doomed to endure this perennial suffering
Wounds that bleed with every step towards nothingness
Wander among wastelands
Isolated
The abyss speaks to those with the ability to listen
But as it bestows, so it will deprive
Loathing, lamentations
A dagger piercing my heart
Anguish, desperation
Unchaining my essence
One of my very first metal albums that i listened to, and i still listen to it almost every week, Artificial brain do an amazing job of creating a brutal and atmospheric sound, with a great deal of technical guitar and unique parts of each track, worth every penny stormsurge_elite
never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
Mind-flaying brutal technical death metal that will pulverize you to smithereens while its complex structures stun your cerebral cortex. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 19, 2022
NYC death-dealers deliver a winning pair of experimental black-metal epics that slither and scorch: an infernal delight. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 15, 2019
Harsh, dissonant, frightening and even a little bit unnerving. All this can be said about Void Masquerading as Matter - but it is also complex, immersive (if you are not repelled), fascinating and rousing (in the sense of: dragging you into the abyss). How ever you describe the music of Thantifaxath for yourself it's clear what this music is not: conventional and boring. Go ahead, dare to make the trip. The reward is there. mourner
